Persephone
Known as Persephone, born Lori Anne Agricola, I am the founder and creatrix of The Vegan Challenge. I've been a vegetarian since the summer of 1997 and vegan since spring 2008. The Vegan Challenge was born out of a little idea I had sometime in the fall of '08... "Wouldn't it be great if we could get a dozen non-vegans to go vegan for a month? That'd be like 1 person being vegan for a whole year!" And here we are today. 
Along with my partner/husband, I own and operate a small vegetarian eatery inside the 2nd Street Public Market in downtown Dayton called Raw Passion Bistro. I am also a Celebrant certified with the Celebrant Foundation USA and licensed to perform marriages in the state of Ohio. I do what I love and love what I do!
In addition to being passionately vegan I am passionately feminist, love rituals and spiritual exploration, am a lazy yoga practitioner, obsessed with all things Buffy (as in the vampire slayer), addicted to Facebook, in love with my cat, occasionally like to be an artist and sometimes paint/write/play music/dance... when I'm not busy running a businss, being an activist, and being a superhero.
